Palazzo Productions introduces mentoring program to enhance leadership training workshops
Leadership Mentoring
In response to the demand for generational leadership coaching, Michael Palazzo Productions will be launching a new learning segment to assist organizations
as Baby-Boomers continue to transition into retirement. Company executives have chosen to diversify from training workshops to providing mentorship coaching for existing and
new customers.
There are many perspectives on the definition of mentoring, said staff instructor Charles R. Press, "those organizations who understand the relatively
recent popularity of personal and professional coaching, can begin to transition their organization from good to great". Traditionally, mentoring might have been
described as the activities conducted by a person (the mentor) for another person (the mentee) in order to help that other person to do a job more effectively and/or to progress in
their career. The mentor was probably someone who had "been there, done that" before. A mentor might use a variety of approaches, e.g., coaching, training, discussion,
counseling, etc. Today, there seems to be much ongoing discussion and debate about the definitions and differences regarding coaching and mentoring.
Preparing the next generation for greater leadership responsibility requires todays senior organizational leaders to both mentor (coach) and
create a systemic process for organizational growth. To presume that people will just get it based on the paradigm of, "we've always done it that way" is not only a flawed
concept, it's simply yesterdays methodology. The information age employee employee requires data in real time, they seek to be involved in the process of
organizational growth.
Mentoring people to become their best is about seeing the true value in person. Ignorance in the 21st century will not be a mater of a persons capacity
to read and write, rather their ability to learn, unlearn and relearn.

Michael Palazzo Productions Presents 7 Habits For Law Enforcement to Nevada Department of Corrections |
|
+ Read Press Release
CARY, N.C. (Jan 30, 2008) - Michael Palazzo Productions, a national leadership-training firm, has partnered with Nevada Department of Corrections to present the
7 Habits of Highly Effective People for Law Enforcement, on April 2-4, 2008.
"We look forward to assisting law enforcement professionals with fulfilling their annual state-required continuing education credits," said Michael Palazzo,
CEO of MP Productions. "As Baby Boomers"
begin to transition into retirement, many organizations are already finding it difficult to find qualified replacements. The challenge lies in both the numbers and experience; there
simply aren't as many workers as will be needed to fill vacated leadership slots, and those potential leaders who are available will only bring 5-10 years experience with them.
The 7 Habits course is a three-day facilitator-led workshop that teaches participants how to adapt to intense work environments and achieve long-term results without
disregarding day-to-day leadership responsibilities. Michael Palazzo Productions also presents the Franklin Covey Executive Leadership and the Focus on your Highest Priorities workshop
for all levels of your organization.
